Welcome to the life of working at Ettika! Some of our days are spent at the beach searching for inspiration. Here’s our photo diary of our day!

Poke bowls at the beach are always a must when we’re sitting on the sandy beaches of Venice. Our favorite place is Poke-Poke, located right off of the beach.

Here’s what we wore to the beach:

We wore our Mink Pink Slasher Shorts, Ray bans, and Forever 21 tropical bandeau (not pictured) We stuck with soft pastels for our outfit and darker colored bracelets.

At the end of the day, it was finally time to head back to the office. We were sad to see the day end, but thankful we got to spend it at the beach.

Our Summer Bucket List: Road Trips, Beach Days, and Cliff Diving.

Summer is about squeezing all the things you wish you could do during the school year into 3 short months. Our bucket list this summer includes Road Trips along the PCH, Beach Days at Santa Monica Beach, Cliff Diving in Hermit Falls, and Shopping trips with the bests..where we literally won’t stop until we drop! We’ll be wearing our California Sunrise Stack this summer to match the perfect California sun. Our fav stores we’ll be sure to hit up this summer include Urban Outfitters, Nastygal, Wildfox, and Zara! Our summer musts will be posted later this week, so stay tuned!

How to Wear a PJ Pant Without Looking Like Pajamas

A trend that we are absolutely obsessed with right now is the pajama pant. Here are three looks that we just can’t live without.

Why we love: Most of these pants come with a draw string which is fantastic on so many levels. Whether you’re having a skinny day or a bloated day, these bottoms can fluctuate with your waist size. The large bell bottom gives you an updated 70′s vibe and flatters almost every shape.

How we style: Now that the weather is warming up, these patterned pieces look best with a cotton tank. Tucked in and just a little over-sized, in colors ranging from a creamy off white, slate grey and black. If you really want to be daring (which we know you do!) try a large stripe or bold geometric print top. Step in some strappy wedges and you have the look every fashionista will covet!

The key with these patterned pretties are the accessories. An outfit can look overdone if you add too much to an already busy print but could look incomplete if not enough embellishments are included. We think a color coordinated stack is just the remedy for this unavoidable conundrum. We paired the Clover Canyon pant with our Lasso Your Heart Stack, Free People pant with our Rhythm and Blues Stack and Tory Burch pant with our Birds of a Feather Stack.

Where we wear: Summer is the time when your social calendar is packed with events and outdoor activities and this is the perfect look to transition you from day into night. 3 Ways to Rock This Season’s Hottest Shades of Green

Green is a color that looks great on everyone. Whether it’s a lighter brighter hue or one that’s deep and luscious, you can find a shade that suits your coloring and complexion. Today, we at Ettika, bring you three of this Spring/Summer’s hottest green shades that will have your sun-kissed skin glowing.

First up: Emerald Empress

Emerald is the Pantone Color of the Year. What does this mean? It means prepare yourself for a lot of gem tone staples. Mix and match rich colors with prints and golds. In this styling, we started with an amazing J. Crew printed silk blouse to top off these J Brand denim leggings. To bring out the colors of the blouse, we added our Desert Rose Stack, some chevron earrings and single spike gold ring. Add a matching emerald silk turban and you are ready to shop Rodeo Drive in utter style sublimity!

Next: Mint Maven

Mint has been in style for a little while now and we are more obsessed with it than ever. This pastel beauty is a color that can accentuate the natural high lights in your hair, greenish blue in your eyes or the pinks in your cheeks. Stroll the boardwalk with Ferdinand, your French Bulldog, while sporting these True Religion Old Mint denim, Gypsy 05 Floral Blouse, and pink Oasis Ballet Flats. Show off all the floral colors with accessories such as our All Chained Up Mint Linen Bracelet, Aventurine Semi Precious Stone Earrings and a Tribal Eagle Leather Bracelet with pops of coral and kiwi. Traditionally, summer is the time to bring out these rad stone tones so now that spring is almost over, we put together a beach look that will have you cruising the sand dunes in paradise perfection. Nothing says beach babe like a chiffon maxi skirt swaying in the warm breeze so we took this bright maxi and topped it with a sweet floral bandeau tube top by Blonde + Blonde. We draped a bronzed Aztec and turquoise stone earring, a touch of bracelets on the wrist and a big Billabong printed tote to fit all your shore essentials. What can we add to make this simply stunning summer look go from pretty in prints to stunner in the sun? We strapped on these barefoot sandals for the epitome of ocean side style.

3 Ways to Look Like an IT-Girl at Coachella

We know you planned your Coachella wardrobe weeks in advance and now that the first weekend is over, here is a recap of some of our favorite looks from some of our favorite It-Girls. For those of you going to the second installment this weekend or you are getting your party on locally, we’ve got you covered from over the top to simple and sweet.

We are always following Whitney Port to see what she will wear next. She can just pull off that effortless simplicity that most of us try but always seem to over work it. Whit was seen sporting one of her own designs while cruising Coachella last weekend and we are obsessed with the color and texture! Something so simple can be jazzed up with tons of accessories and bold colors. We went with similar shades for the wrist {so that not to outshine that festival wrist band} and brassy gold earring. Adding Grecian gold gladiator sandals from ASOS gives this a beachy, dressed down feel and the bright pop of neon coral on the Loeffler Randall bag makes for the perfect combination!

Vanessa Hudgens was the unofficial style icon for this years Coachella and we at the Ettika office couldn’t wait to see what she was going to wear next! Never looking too costumy, V killed it in boho chic all weekend long! Simple cut off denim short shorts topped with a printed tube top was one go-to look while she was also seen in a sweet eyelet top and bottom set. How to pull off this look? Definitely grab a floral head band for starters. We recommend one of ours {of course!} as seen above and throw on lots of braided bracelets and statement necklace for a true bohemian look. Add some TOMS shoes and you are good to go sway and groove to the sweet sounds of the festival!

Pretty Little Liars principle and Spring Breakers co-star with V-Hud, Ashley Benson went rock. Taking a page out of the rock and roll playbook, she managed to go all black without looking out of place among the other festival goers. Ashley was wearing one of the biggest trends seen coming out of the desert, the snap back hat. We think keeping the accessories in blacks and golds work best with stackable black Ettika bracelets and solid black shades by Linda Farrow. Top it all off with bright neon Converse keeping you fun and festive!

There you have it, kids. Three awesome looks that will guarantee you the attention you deserve at any music festival you decide to attend this season. Remember, don’t take yourself too seriously, have fun with fashion and try out looks you wouldn’t normally wear.

Can you hear that music playing? No, you’re not crazy… you’re just two days away from one of the biggest music festivals in the United States. It seems to us that, while we always want to dress to impress every time we leave the house, Coachella is the place to be seen in the most fashionable light possible. This is the place where celebrities, models and it-girls walk among us as if on a runway, being seen and photographed for every important fashion publication.
