Each watch arrives in an Ettika-branded gift box, ready to impress

Wearing and Care Precautions

Ettika watches are 3ATM water resistant—safe for hand washing and light rain, but not for swimming, showering, or high-heat environments like saunas and hot springs. Always dry immediately if wet and avoid running water directly on the watch.

To keep the finish looking fresh, apply perfume or skincare before wearing, wipe away sweat after exercise, and keep away from chemicals like hairspray or lotions. Avoid spraying perfume on the watch, letting moisture sit, or exposing it to high-impact sports or strong magnetic fields, as these may damage the movement or finish.

Cleaning & Maintenance

For light cleaning, use a slightly damp cloth, but never soak the watch. The mineral glass surface should be cleaned with a soft cloth avoid rough materials that may scratch.

Clean between links with a soft cloth or cotton swab to remove sweat and debris.

Genuine leather watch straps require regular care to maintain their appearance, flexibility, and durability. Exposure to everyday elements like dirt, sweat, and oils can cause discolouration, stiffness, and cracking.

Avoid water exposure.  If the strap gets wet, dab it dry with a soft cloth and allow it to air dry naturally.

Clean using a soft, microfibre cloth and specialised leather care agent and allow to air dry naturally.

Long-Term Storage

If you do not wear your watch for an extended period, remove the battery (for quartz watches) to prevent leakage. Store your watch in a dry, light-protected environment ideally in its original Ettika box or a dust-proof pouch.
